Terms & Conditions

This document constitutes a legally binding agreement (the "Agreement") between LogicHook ("we," "our," "us," or "LogicHook") and the student ("you," "your," or "the Student") enrolling in our industrial training programs. By enrolling in any of our courses, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Enrollment and Refund Policy

1.1 Enrollment Process

To enroll in any of our courses, you must:

  • Complete the online application form available on our website.
  • Submit all required documentation, including but not limited to educational certificates and identification.
  • Pay the initial installment as outlined in Section 2.

1.2 Refund Policy

Our refund policy is fair and transparent, in compliance with applicable laws:

  • You may request a refund within 7 working days of the course start date.
  • To request a refund, you must submit a written request to [email protected], including your full name, course details, and reason for the refund.
  • Refund requests made after the 7-day period will not be entertained, except under extraordinary circumstances as determined by LogicHook’s management.
  • Approved refunds will be processed and credited to the original payment method within 7 working days of the approval.
  • The refund amount will be the full course fee minus administrative costs, which will not exceed 10% of the total course fee.

1.3 Cancellation by the Academy

LogicHook reserves the right to cancel or postpone a course due to unforeseen circumstances or insufficient enrollment. In such cases:

  • You will be notified at least 7 days before the scheduled start date.
  • You will have the option to transfer to another course or receive a full refund.

2. Payment Terms

2.1 Fee Structure

The total course fee must be paid in two installments:

  • 50% upfront before the course begins (due 7 days prior to the start date).
  • 50% after 1 month from the first payment date.

2.2 Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit/Debit Cards
  • Bank Transfer
  • PayPal

2.3 Late Payments

  • A grace period of 5 working days will be granted for the second installment.
  • After the grace period, a late fee of 5% of the outstanding amount will be applied.
  • Failure to make the required payments may result in suspension of training until full payment is received.
  • Continued non-payment may result in termination of your enrollment without a refund.

3. Course Structure and Access

3.1 Training Format

  • The program is a hands-on industrial training experience and not an online course.
  • Students are expected to actively participate in the day-to-day work environment while receiving practical training.
  • The course includes lectures, practical assignments, and real-world projects.

3.2 Course Materials

  • LogicHook will provide necessary course materials, including textbooks, software licenses, and access to the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Students may take personal notes during training.
  • All course materials are proprietary and must remain confidential. Students are prohibited from sharing, distributing, or publishing materials without explicit written permission from LogicHook.

3.3 Intellectual Property

  • Course content, including lectures, presentations, and assignments, is the intellectual property of LogicHook and is protected under copyright laws.
  • Unauthorized recording, reproduction, or distribution of course materials is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
  • Students may showcase practice project work in their portfolios, but the work will be hosted on LogicHook’s servers and remain subject to these terms.

4. Attendance and Participation

4.1 Attendance Requirements

  • Students must attend all classes, lectures, and complete assignments.
  • A minimum attendance of 90% is required for certification eligibility.
  • In case of unavoidable absences, prior notification must be given, along with supporting documentation (e.g., medical certificates).

4.2 Participation Expectations

  • Active participation is mandatory for successful training completion.
  • Students are expected to engage in discussions, ask questions, and contribute to group projects.
  • Disruptive behavior, including harassment or violation of LogicHook’s code of conduct, may result in immediate termination of enrollment without a refund.

4.3 Assignments and Projects

  • All assignments must be submitted by the deadlines provided.
  • Late submissions may be accepted at the instructor’s discretion, with potential penalties.
  • Plagiarism or academic dishonesty will result in a failing grade and possible termination of enrollment.

5. Certification

5.1 Certification Requirements

  • Certification eligibility is based on completing the training program and achieving a minimum score of 70% on the final test.
  • Attendance and assignment completion requirements must also be met.

5.2 Certificate Issuance

  • Certificates will be issued in digital format within 14 working days of meeting all course requirements.
  • Physical certificates are available upon request for an additional fee.

5.3 Failure to Meet Requirements

  • Students who fail to meet certification criteria may retake the final test or make up for missed sessions, subject to additional fees.

6. Intellectual Property and Code Ownership

6.1 Practice Projects

  • Students may retain the code developed during practice projects for personal use and portfolios.
  • All practice project code will be hosted on LogicHook’s servers and accessed under a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for non-commercial purposes.

6.2 Live Client Projects

  • All live client project code remains the exclusive property of LogicHook.
  • Copying, distributing, or using such code outside the training program is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

6.3 Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

  • Students may be required to sign an NDA before accessing sensitive information or participating in certain projects.
  • Breach of the NDA may result in legal consequences and termination of enrollment.

7. Employment Disclaimer

7.1 Nature of the Program

  • The program is designed to simulate initial industrial training and does not constitute an offer of employment or guarantee of future employment.

7.2 job Assurance

  • While LogicHook may provide job placement assistance, including resume reviews and mock interviews, securing employment remains the student’s responsibility.

7.3 Industry Connections

  • LogicHook may introduce students to industry partners, but any resulting employment agreements are solely between the student and the employer.

8. Course Modifications

8.1 Right to Modify

LogicHook reserves the right to modify course content, fees, and structure due to evolving industry standards, software updates, or operational needs.

8.2 Notification of Changes

  • Enrolled students will be notified of significant changes at least 14 days in advance.
  • Minor updates may be implemented without prior notice.

8.3 Student Options

  • In case of substantial changes, students may withdraw within 7 days of receiving the notice and request a pro-rata refund.

9. Demo Classes

9.1 Free Demo Class

  • LogicHook offers a single free demo class to prospective students to provide an overview of the teaching methodology and course structure.
  • During the demo class, the prospective student will be allowed to observe an ongoing one-on-one live class as a passive participant.
  • The demo class is purely observational, and the prospective student will not be allowed to ask questions, engage with the instructor, or participate in any assignments or activities during the session.

9.2 No Obligation to Enroll

  • Attendance of the demo class does not obligate the prospective student to enroll in any course.
  • The decision to join the course after the demo class rests entirely with the prospective student.

9.3 Non-Disclosure of Demo Content

  • By attending the demo class, the prospective student agrees not to disclose, record, or replicate any part of the demo session, including the teaching style, course content, or any proprietary material, without explicit written permission from LogicHook.
  • Any breach of this clause may result in legal action to protect LogicHook’s intellectual property.

9.4 Limitations of Demo Class

  • The demo class is provided as-is and does not guarantee the prospective student’s experience in the full course.
  • LogicHook reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the demo class at its discretion and will notify the prospective student in advance wherever possible.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

10.1 Governing Law

  • This Agreement shall be governed by and construed under the laws of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

10.2 Jurisdiction

All disputes arising under this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India.

10.3 Arbitration

If a dispute cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiations, either party may initiate binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Arbitration will occur in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
